- Take an inventory of personal and business items that you have that you did not use last year and probably won't use this year (a good place to look is in your attic, your basement, your garage and... at the back of your closet!)
- Make a list of these items and determine what you feel a "fair market value" is. In other words, if you wanted that item and someone was offering it to you for sale, what would you be willing to pay.
